On February 25, 2020, the Market Department of Jitai Electronics Co., Ltd. convened its regular market meeting with a key agenda: the rapid development of electrical connectors to cater to global markets with superior quality and competitive pricing.
During this meeting, our research and development department emphasized the extensive utilization of electrical connectors in aerospace and aviation sectors. Recognizing the demand for lightweight electronic devices, we identified aluminum alloy as an ideal material due to its low density. This material offers high mechanical strength, effective dissipation, mature technology, ease of fabrication, and cost-effectiveness, making it suitable for mass production. Consequently, our company focused on developing a specialized electrical connector compatible with aluminum alloy.
Over several years of dedicated effort, we successfully addressed four technical challenges:
1. Ensuring the expansion coefficient compatibility with aluminum alloy packaging and selecting appropriate materials for sealing with glass insulators.
2. Overcoming the challenge of fabricating small glass sealing holes while maintaining outer diameter tolerance and height requirements.
3. Addressing issues related to small lead pitch and managing thermal expansion coefficient discrepancies between the package and lead.
4. Refining the electroplating technology for hollow leads with small glass holes.
The development of aluminum alloy-based electrical connectors not only expands our market reach but also positions us as leaders in the design and manufacturing of micro-rectangular electrical connectors.
